Vinyl….most hated part of remodeling
great video
You aren’t kidding!!! And Thanks!!!
Looks and sounds like me on one of my projects. “I don’t even wanna see what’s behind there”, “What a mess”, “I gotta figure out how to…”, I’m taking a break. And my favorite is coming up I’m sure. “What the hell was I thinking?” Great vid man, thanks for documenting this.
Absolutly!!! I just got the new toilet in and found the old shut off leaks!!! LOL Thanks for the great comment!!!
Two words for vinyl demo….Heat Gun!
I had one too!!!
OMG it’s my bathroom lol. mine has that fake cardboard tile on the walls the top half is yellow fake tile and the bottom half is pink fake plastic cardboard backed tile. None stop mold cant stand it!! Going to gut it next month redo it the way I want lol.
You are lucky in the fact that you seem to have some kind of dry/plaster board already on the walls how ever old it may be. I have plaster and lath boards on my bath room walls.
God bless you for making these videos. I never have to use my girlfriend’s dad EVER again!!!!
Welcome!!! I need to build the last 2 vids tho
Thanks for posting this. Were planning to gut our bathroom in the next couple weeks. These clips are most helpful.
You’re very welcome!!! Good luck. Don’t take all summer like I did!!!
i just found out that i might have termites in the wall in my master bathroom. we wanted to remodel and tear out the wall s anyway but have no clue what to do. am waiting for a call for a termite inspection. home was built in 96 here in tucson, az. the idiot who built it used regular dry wall and not cement board or whatever. what do we do
You should treat the property yearly first. Second, call a contractor!!! That wall may have to go!!! Remember, I just do this on my place, I’m not a pro!!! LOL
That’s one rough looking bathroom
@stairbuilding Is sure was! Almost 40 years old. Now its all new. Looks good too!!! I still havent found my hinges to finish. Kids have been useing it forever. Still have to do door trim and 2 cabinet doors.
