Light Fixtures in the Tuscan Tradition

Traditionally, Tuscan style is defined by four building elements: the use of stone, terracotta S-shaped tiles on rooftops, terracotta or stone tiles on floors, and timber beams.
Tuscan bathroom light fixtures must fit those four elements. All light fixtures for bathrooms should fit the chosen style, of course.
If you are creating a Tuscan bathroom design, you may have stone tiles on the floor. Your ceiling may feature timber beams, real or imitation. There may be a faux roof over the garden tub, with appropriate terracotta roof tiles. Reddish-brown terracotta on the wall around the garden tub, as well as live hanging plants, may be wet with a mist of raindrops. Your vanity top may be polished travertine marble, with a terracotta vessel sink.
Tuscan bathroom light fixtures need to blend well with those elements. As you shop for them, picture Tuscany, Italy, known for its artistic legacy and country landscapes. Picture the vineyards. Tuscany is known for wines, olive oil, and cattle. Picture rolling hills with well-preserved, aged buildings.
Look at photos of Tuscany and you will be better prepared to select Tuscan bathroom light fixtures.
Describing Tuscan Bathroom Light Fixtures
Tuscan bathroom light fixtures should be iron, bronze, or patina finish with dark wood. The metal of these light fixtures features graceful curves. Wooden wall mounts on sconces are intricately carved, with a look of Old World rustic history.
Tuscan light fixtures may remind you of rising and falling, overlapping grape vines. Glass or satin shades are gently scalloped flowers on the vines.

Well written article on Tuscan Lighting. Our vote on this style of lighting is a toss-up between the Hinkley Tuscans and the Feiss Tuscan Villa collection. Hinkley has the edge in variety, but Feiss’s exceptional designs are simply stunning.
Both makers have Tuscan lighting in the same price range and offer fixtures from sconces, to lamps, even outdoor posts.
The Tuscan single lighted bathroom vanity lights from the Hinkley Juliette Collection are masterpieces in design. We give this Tuscan five stars for bathroom lighting, and outdoes what Feiss offers in Tuscan-styled bathroom lighting
The three lamp Tuscan Villa chandelier from Feiss is of softer blend, and just as beautiful as any chandeliers Hinkley offers. We give Feiss the nod here on the chandelier side.
Overall the edge is in Murray Feiss’s corner, due to the quality and value outdoing Hinkley’s selection.
